How this site makes money

When you ask to talk to someone about a mortgage, KiwiSaver or insurance, we pass your details to a licensed adviser we have chosen, and if you go ahead with them they pay us a share of their commission. You pay nothing extra. The tools and guides are free, we take no money from banks or lenders for what we write, and no page on this site is sponsored.

Nothing here is personalised advice. The tools show you the arithmetic; a licensed adviser, lawyer or builder is the person to talk to about your own situation, and when we pass your details to one we say so first.
